Business & Administration Officer

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the establishment and maintenance of an effective and efficient administration and business management system and practices for the company.
  • Prepare budget, monitor and control expenditure against budget, and ensure compliance with all management and internal controls.
  • Provide timely and accurate management information and support to the business unit; prepare, analyse and maintain financial management information (MIS) and follow up issues related thereto, e.g. internal & external queries.
  • Create quotations for software sales and handle customer relationships in this regard.
  • Organise marketing and training events. Schedule marketing meetings etc.
  • Handle local and overseas travel arrangements
  • Procuring and managing the budget for office supplies, implementing the organization’s filing and documentation systems, overseeing the operation of office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and fax machines, and managing the calendar and schedule of the MD.
  • Administration of the Human Resources Function, including recruitment, induction, termination, performance management and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining the company website.
  • Administrative duties including template development; implementing admin procedures and policies etc.
  • General Office Manager tasks etc.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or a relevant qualification from a tertiary institution.
  • 6 Years relevant experience
  • SA Citizenship
  • Must have own transportation
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office

Salary & benefits:

  • R120 000 – R144 000 neg. (Depending on skills and experience)
  • No benefits
  • Permanent position

Work Environment:

  • Small development team consisting of developers and engineers
  • Office hours: 6:30 – 15:30
  • Travel locally
