ChemSheet

A New Spreadsheet Tool for Process Simulation

ChemSheet combines the flexibility and practicality of spreadsheet applications with rigorous, multi-phase thermodynamic calculations. Each application is defined as an independent worksheet in Microsoft Excel®, in which the entire simulation can be done."

Worldwide, the thermodynamic programs ChemSage and SOLGASMIX are used in many hundreds of universities and R&D laboratories to obtain results reliably, quickly and efficiently. Now ChemSheet brings the power of these well established thermochemical programs into the reach of everybody, who is familiar with EXCEL spreadsheets.

The input and output of the spreadsheet model are linked to the ChemApp thermodynamic programming library. ChemApp is GTT-Technologies' programmer's library for the calculation of multicomponent, multiphase chemical equilibria and their associated energy balances.

SimuSage

The Component Library for Rapid Process Modelling

SimuSage is a ChemApp-based set of Delphi components for process simulation (flowsheeting) tasks. SimuSage has originally been developed by SMS Demag as an internal tool and has already been used for various projects at SMS Demag and the IVT (Institut für Verfahrenstechnik, RWTH). Development was continued at GTT to produce a commercial product.

FactSage - TEACH

FactSage-Teach is a thermochemical teaching program based on the FactSage application software. It comprises a disk and a comprehensive workbook. The program illustrates the practical use of thermochemistry for solving everyday problems in industry, research and environmental sciences. Through gaining a knowledge of the practical use of thermochemistry, a student is more inclined to learn the theory behind a rather dry subject matter. The workbook contains a background of the theory relating to the practical application of thermochemistry; thereafter, the assignments are given with questions and answers.
